Famous Film Quotes – Translated

Have you ever bought flat-pack furniture, or the latest high-tech electrical gadget, and had problems understanding the accompanying pamphlet that has been translated into English?

They are sometimes full of instruction like:
“Maintain the pressing of the button and engage the option presenting A”

What they really mean is simply:
“Keep the button pressed and select option A”

Well, we wondered how some famous quotes from the movies might turn out under similar treatment. So we took our favourite translation package and subjected some of the most often quoted film sayings to its whims. First we translated the quotes out of English and then back again.

Here are the, sometimes unfathomable, results. Can you guess the original quote they are taken from – do not fret, the answers are listed below.
